Hi, Carla. I don't know if you'll see this, if there are notifications from here anymore, but the pool water up the nose sensation you describe with this piece stands the test of time. I usually say that jokingly, "stands the test of time," when it's like two days later. But this time it's 16 years, so no joke.
The colors of the three blue balls in the top one appear to be variegated in the digital image. They appear to have a pinkish underside and also feel skyey. Your choice of colors in the first one definitely leads to a strange hallucinogenic experience.

The three bigger balls in the top one are in life a cool greenish grey. Not sure if the pinkish underside is there at all. Will have to look at the real thing again.
Also, the smaller balls are a true orange, not a red/orange. But I must refrain from giving useless color corrections.
