  1. what are these on -- canvas, canvas board, cardboard? it almost looks like these recent ones want to be on nothing -- just woven together out of the pieces of glittering stuff.
not so with the earlier centralized ones.

  2. or is it a matter of illusion -- the solidity of the support dissolves visually

  3. Hi. They are on wood. I finally accepted that congregated cardboard is about the worst support possible and leads only to misery and self-loathing.

Had not thought about the idea of the support dissolving visually in these glittering ones, but kind of like that idea.

  4. Congregated cardboard. Yeah, that's cardboard that meets every month to discuss cardboard-specific dilemmas. And there are many, believe me.

  7. nor me, although it sounds like something I might say, in that sometimes "worse" or "bad" can be used in a special way, meaning fearless, abrupt, idiosyncratic.

  13. The rabbits look hidden by the blues but covered by the reds. I prefer the blues this morning.

    1. Wow, I can't believe you saw the rabbits in the blue one. Looking now, I can only see one, just barely. I didn't see it at all when I first revisited these a few moments ago.

  14. Oh, you know what? When you asked about the rabbits, I was only thinking about the pink/red one. But you are right -- there are rabbits hidden in the blue one too. I'd totally forgotten. Ha. They are quite hidden in the blue one.

Really I should call them "bunnies."

I make seasonal and holiday art only, you see.
